About the new Footscray Hospital project

The current Footscray Hospital was built in the 1950s and is a major hospital, providing health services to Melbourne’s inner west area.

The Victorian Government announced it will invest up to $1.5 billion to deliver a new Footscray Hospital. The hospital will be built at 89 Ballarat Road, opposite Victoria University’s Footscray Park campus (corner of Geelong and Ballarat Roads).

For more information on the proposed development please visit our new Footscray Hospital project page.
