Wonthaggi Hospital expansion – Community information session (Phillip Island RSL)

The Victorian Government is ensuring communities can access quality healthcare closer to home by investing $115 million for the expansion of Wonthaggi Hospital.

Locals are invited to attend a drop-in information session to learn more about the project and how it will improve healthcare in the community. Representatives from the Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority and Bass Coast Health will be on hand to answer your questions about the project.

This session will be held on Wednesday 12 February in the ANZAC Room at the Phillip Island RSL. Drop in any time between 4.00 - 6.30 pm (no RSVP required).

The hospital expansion project will deliver a new, larger emergency department, three new operating theatres and a new 32-bed inpatient ward to meet the community’s growing needs.

For more information visit the Wonthaggi Hospital expansion project page.

Another community information session will be held at the Wonthaggi Golf Club on 13 February 2020.
