Community hospitals

The Victorian Government has committed $675 million to build ten community hospitals close to major growth areas.

Community hospitals will expand our current public hospital network. They will improve the way healthcare is delivered in suburban and regional Victoria, providing more access to in-demand services - closer to home.

This investment will be used to upgrade and expand existing public health services at CraigieburnCranbourne, Pakenham, Phillip Island, Sunbury and Torquay and support new developments in the City of WhittleseaEltham area, Point Cook and Fishermans Bend.
