Monash Children's Hospital - Early in Life Mental Health Services
A $14 million boost to Monash Children’s Hospital facilities will benefit Victorian children experiencing mental health issues. The newly integrated Early in Life Mental Health Service is now co-located with a new purpose-built eight-bed child inpatient unit.
This investment, part of the State Government's 10 Year Mental Health Plan for Victoria, will give greater access for affected children and young people to proven treatment options and support services. The new facilities mean Monash Children’s Hospital now has greater capacity to meet future demands for its services and adds a purpose-designed environment for children and young people.
