The Royal Children’s Hospital expansion

The Victorian Government is investing $31.4 million to expand The Royal Children’s Hospital with funding in the Victorian 2019-20 Budget.

The Royal Children’s Hospital is one of the state’s leading paediatric hospitals providing specialist care for children from Victoria, Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia. It is also a leading hospital in paediatric training and research.

This expansion will allow The Royal Children’s Hospital to continue meeting growing demand through an increase in acute paediatric beds and emergency department services.
