New Healthy Community Access Hub to open in Kyneton

A newly completed $9.7 million multi-purpose hub for health and community services in Kyneton is complete and will shortly open to the public.

The Healthy Community Access Hub provides a purpose-built ‘one‐stop‐shop’, which will bring together a range of services coordinated by Cobaw Community Health Services.

Located next to the Kyneton District Hospital, the hub will offer:

  • primary health services
  • community health and wellbeing services
  • private practitioners and counsellors
  • dedicated space for youth and children’s services
  • a community kitchen, bathroom and laundry
  • flexible meeting spaces
  • e-health capabilities.

Designed with input from Macedon Ranges locals, the hub is purpose-built for the needs of the community.

The hub will feature some of the latest advances in e-health technology, making it easier for clients to manage bookings and access care.

The facility was made possible by the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund. The $350 million fund is the largest grant program of its kind in Victorian history. The funding enables rural and regional public health services to continue to provide safe and efficient care to local communities.
